Walking through Cahersiveen was a fun break while driving along the Ring Of Kerry – a small but lovely town!
One of the many wonderful views we came along while driving through south Ireland – and of course, there’s a sheep in it!
Driving on to the Ring of Kerry, we stumbled upon a sign announcing “Union Hall” and just had to visit the fishing village!
A lovely little town – and when going out to have dinner later that day, the menu proudly displayed that the fish was coming from – Union Hall!
One more glimpse from Killarney – we visited Muckross House – or rather the gardens – after a long day of driving along the Ring of Kerry.
How wonderful – and the entry to the gardens is free. Just the thing after a long day to wind down a bit.
The last photograph from the Ring of Kerry – I hope to get to the Dingle peninsula tomorrow 🙂
One more photograph from the Ring of Kerry – we had lunch in Waterville and walked along the beach there.
Quite a lot of people were out, walking the beach, despite it not being too warm.
Just a quick glimpse of the Torc waterfalls – we hiked up there while staying in Killarney.
A bit crowded but only up until the first set of stairs 🙂
One more photo from the Ring of Kerry – Cahersiveen this time.
The fog behind was with us in the morning – bright sunshine came out 10 min later…
A bit of fog set in when we drove along the Ring of Kerry for the first time – but we still got this nice view at The Ladies’ View. We hoped for better weather for the next day and it was, but the first sight is lovely still.
