While waiting to start on the whale watching tour, we took this picture of Reykjavik and up the harbor.
It’s always full of unexpected colors and details – I just love Reykjavik!
A detail from Harpa at Reykjavik – the windows and the building itself are spectacular and beautiful.
I’d love to have seen something inside, but we were too late and just had to take a self guided tour.
Perhaps one day….
One more glimpse of Reykjavik City Hall – the famous moss wall peeks in from the side.

What a wonderful and fun event – we enjoyed every minute. Concerts, events and people meeting everywhere!
A memory of Reykjavik at night – it does get dark very late in August.
The museum we loved most in Reykjavik – the settlement museum. I especially enjoyed the 871 plus minus two sign.
One more shot from the classic car parade on a Friday night in Reykjavik.
What a beauty!
