Looking back on this day, I could use a bit of the green calm sights of Geiranger – so refreshing and beautiful!
Visiting the Nidarosdomen at Trondheim, we took the chance to see not only the royal crown – but also a very interesting exhibition on WW2 and Norway.
Staying for a few days in Geiranger, we decided to take the sightseeing boat to take us out and see the fjord and the waterfalls from the sea – I can really recommend that! It’s great to see everything from the sea-side – and there’s so much to see.
Walking back to the hotel after dinner, we came across this at the Oslo Harbour – music playing and people dancing!
What a fun event – I hope it was not a one time affaire as it looked so wonderful.
One more memory of our short visit to Fredrickstadt. We spent a fun afternoon, driving there from Oslo – a nice change and so many wonderful things to see!
Sadly, I don’t remember the exact place this photo was taken – it was at Oslo, Norway, but I don’t remember the exact location.
The roof struck me as impressive, though – I loved the light!
One of the first photos we took in Norway – walking through the old town of Bergen was exciting. So many wonderful houses, streets and sights – a great start to our visit.
Walking and hiking around Geiranger was one of the most wonderful things we did in Norway – everything was so lovely and green.
After traveling to Trondheim with the Hurtigrute, we visited Trondheim and the Nidarosdomen – the cathedral. Very impressive and so much to see!
