We just returned from a short vacation – hiking again, this time in Tyrol! Everything was so wonderfully green – all the rain this year helped the greenery.
Walking and hiking around the mountains of Styria – a memory of the last weekends.
Back to the hiking weekend last week – this time a cheese store we found right on the mountain – set up in a barn.
And there was no shortage of customers coming and going 🙂
We had a nice hiking trip in Styria on the weekend, and that was the view we had.
Isn’t it almost like a postcard?
Enough fresh air to prepare for a week in the office 🙂
A view from a hike we took this weekend – walking through forests and over mountain meadows, surrounded by cows and sunshine.
We had great views and a nice lunch in one of the guest houses – they even made espresso 🙂
A memorial cross – a Marterl – we came across while walking along a forest road to a nice forest restaurant.
What a lovely surprise! You see those crosses often here. I wonder what’s the story behind this one…
Walking through the floodplains of the Mur on Sunday, we came across this bridge.
Doesn’t it look magical? All the happiness it might lead to!
Another picture from Sunday’s hike – including the snow patches.
A lot of people were out enjoying the scenery and resting on the terrace.
Getting some fresh air before the new week starts has shown us a sight – we saw several para gliders while we were resting, a bit tired from hiking.
Spring has not yet caught on at 1400m, but the first crocus blooms were visible – and a lot of snow patches, too.
