One of the gardens in Haarlem we enjoyed seeing – on a hot summer day it would be an ideal spot to spend the afternoon.
Leaving from Haarlem to Amsterdam, we found the Central Station quite impressive.
And the trains were fast, on time and not expensive – an overall win and much easier than going by car.
One more photograph from the Netherlands trip in 2009.
We stayed in Haarlem and took the train to Amsterdam and wandered around the city, taking in the sights and sounds.

I’m starting to work on my pictures from our last trip to the Netherlands – 2009 and I have not made my album yet!
So I found this nice picture of a side street and waterway in Haarlem – looks so green and peaceful.
A memory of a wonderful sunny afternoon in the Netherlands.
All the outdoor cafes and restaurants around the place – we enjoyed our stay a lot!
