Looking back on this day, I could use a bit of the green calm sights of Geiranger – so refreshing and beautiful!
Staying for a few days in Geiranger, we decided to take the sightseeing boat to take us out and see the fjord and the waterfalls from the sea – I can really recommend that! It’s great to see everything from the sea-side – and there’s so much to see.
Walking and hiking around Geiranger was one of the most wonderful things we did in Norway – everything was so lovely and green.
Walking around Geiranger, we were amazed how lovely and green everything was – and we enjoyed a few lovely walks and hikes all around the forests.
Spending a few days here after the Hurtigruten trip on our road trip made for a welcome rest!
After travelling with the Hurtigruten, we drove from Trondheim to Oslo – visiting Geiranger and Kvitfjell and getting to see a bit if Norway.
Leaving Geiranger, we got to drive up and visit Dalsnibba – wonderful view!
Traveling along the Norwegian coast with the Hurtigruten was a great experience – even though we only stayed for a part of the trip, we hope to take the full trip one day.
Here a quick shot of the arrival at Geiranger – we returned via car later and stayed a few days to enjoy the scenery more.
A memory from our travel through Norway – the view down the Geirangerfjord.
My photo book plans are advancing nicely. I’ve got all my travels from the last years uploaded and saved – 2500 photographs!
Now on to sort, edit and publish them, then make photo books – I’ll be busy for years!
So, here’s the first one I found:
It’s one of the wonderful waterfalls of the Geiranger fjord. If I recall correctly, it’s the Seven Sisters. We had a great tour with a boat through the fjord to see the waterfalls, old farms and sights. I can highly recommend that!
