July brought record summer heat and thunder storms, sunshine and rain, a weekend getaway to a wonderful street art event, flowers and, as was to be expected, lots of work tobe done in between all that. But the vacation season is ahead!
I’d love to stay in a cottage like this – we passed this cottage while vacationing in Tyrol, Austria.
Something different for a change – flowers in a meadow behind our garden.
All those flowers were blossoming yesterday and made a colorful entry – alive with butterflies.
A Sunday with weather that couldn’t decide if it should rain or not left us with a short walk in the city.
We had a great lunch in a surprisingly good restaurant and walked down the city mountain to discover pink paths – pink from the blossoms falling down the trees.
I saw this flower installation yesterday at a spring fair.
I loved it a lot – what a wonderful concept, and all the attention to details.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take the artists name.
Still, it’s a gorgeous sight.
Walking to our garage and heading off to work, I decided to stop and see.
What a great and beautiful view! How wonderful do the blooming trees look.
But I’ve got to go to work…
As the explosion at the Boston marathon left us afraid and sad and full of questions – What happened? Why? – I’ll send my favorite picture of a wonderful flower garden I visited last year.
May it bring a little peace and brighten your day.
Finally, the first blooms and flowers! I just found this pretty flowers yesterday – spring is here!
Poor flowers. It’ll be spring soon, hopefully!
