One more cruise memory – the inside of the ship really was colorful!
It took some time getting used to – but I loved the ships on the ceiling from first sight 🙂

Marbella
Malaga harbor
A memory from our cruise – driving from the cruise ship through the Malaga harbor and passing this ship.
I still wonder what kind of ship it was – is it permanently staying in the harbor or sailing the seas?
Hurtigrute Nordnorge
I’m back after a day long powerless – the freezing rain had caused trees to break and topple and take the power lines with them.
Cold and uncomfortable – but the power is back on and I’m back again!
This photo was taken at Molde in Norway from board of the Hurtigruten Norlys – travelling from Bergen to Trondheim. Meeting another Hurtigruten ship was always a welcome sight – and all Hurtigruten ships were welcomed by the people we met.
Tenerife flowers
On our cruise in 2006, we stopped in Tenerife and did a wonderful tour – driving all the way up to Teide and stopping in the botanical garden.
Here’s a glimpse of the garden – flowers and lush greenery all around!
Arriving at Geiranger
Traveling along the Norwegian coast with the Hurtigruten was a great experience – even though we only stayed for a part of the trip, we hope to take the full trip one day.
Here a quick shot of the arrival at Geiranger – we returned via car later and stayed a few days to enjoy the scenery more.
Getting to see the other sides
Visiting Casablanca – it was one if the ports we stopped at on our cruise.
We took a tour and of course, the great mosque Hassan II was one if the main sights.
Having never seen a mosque before, we were impressed and tried to get a glimpse of everything – including the baths. Beautiful!
