The locks have started to appear here in Graz over the last years – I like to see them on the bridges, such a happy and colorful look 🙂
One of the remaining art installations of the year 2003 – Graz was cultural capital of Europe – is the island in the Mur.
It’s designed by Vita Acconi and houses a cafe – and it’s one of the most photographed attractions of Graz.
The doors of the fire brigade in our next town are a sight to see – the graffiti showing the work of the fire brigade is a fun highlight to their dramatic and hard work.
It’s May – and May poles are here in every town or village all over Austria (or Styria at least). It’s a much-loved tradition and a fun celebration of spring 🙂
I’ve not been taking too many photos lately – but I’d like to share this photo with you, taken at a new restaurant that opened a few weeks ago.
We loved our visit there – and it certainly looks nice, doesn’t it?
Visiting the local spring fair, we came across this vintage street car – from 1918, if I remember correctly. It’s one of the first electric cars – a much loved museum exhibit by now!
