Breathtaking views again – we visited the Cliffs of Moher. It was not the best day, weather wise, but the rain waited until we left ūüôā

Driving up to Limerick, we stopped at Tralee to visit the Blennerville windmill – a working windmill that was rebuilt from ruins.
They also have an exhibition on famine emigration – very moving.

Driving along the Ring of Kerry

A view from the coast along the Ring of Kerry. It’s breathtakingly beautiful – all you need is a place to stop the car as the roads are very narrow.

But we made it – driving on the left without any trouble!

Back from Ireland

I’m back from our vacation in Ireland!

We saw and did so much, I’m at a loss as to where to start!

We started in Dublin, had a car tire mini adventure, drove on to Cork, from there to Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, Dingle peninsula, on to Limerick, saw the Cliffs of Moher and on to Dublin. We visited the Boyne Valley, Tullamore and Cashel…

Now we’re back, a bit tired, and have got a lot of laundry to catch up ūüėČ

Ireland is wonderful, I loved it very much! Maybe one day I can return and see Connemara and Belfast and …..

Hotel Chocolat

That photograph was taken back in Copenhagen – doesn’t the hotel look lovely?
We didn’t stay there, though – it looked inviting nevertheless.

In the next days we’re on a vacation trip to Ireland – so perhaps I’ll pe posting a bit less – depending on the wi-fi availability.
Have a great weekend and a wonderful week everyone!

Looking back on Gamla Linköping  and wonderful afternoon spent walking through this lovely little town.

Unfortunately, the cafe was stuffed with people – that’s what you get for visiting on a Sunday. But everything was so lovingly prepared, even with people in costume, I’d love to return one day and see it again.

Windmill at Zaanse Schans

Visiting the windmills in Zaanse Schans was a fun part of visiting the Netherlands – it was a spur of the moment decision and the host at our bed and breakfast recommended it to us.
Quite touristy, but fun nevertheless!
