A view of the whale watchers in the other boat, taken from our own boat at Reykjavik.
We didn’t see too many whales, a few porpoises and one minke whale, but it was a fun experience and cold!
A view down the lock gates cascade at Borenshult – taken at our journey along the Göta Canal last year.
It was so interesting to see the locks in action and watch the ships descend and ascend the cascades.
It’s the view down the tower of Hallgrims Church – doesn’t Reykjavik look lovely? So colorful and fun!
It’s just like a toy city!
Aaaand one more photograph from Copenhagen.
This time a view from the evening walk we took along Nyhavn.
I need to start working on some of my photographs from other places or you’ll all be bored to tears by Copenhagen soon!
One more photograph from Copenhagen – this time the Elephant Gate.
It was a fun visit to the brewery – and I hope more fun is coming along this summer.
We just started planning our summer trip for this year – a bit late….
I came across this fun fruity drink in Copenhagen – what a name!
It cheered me up a lot and I needed some cheers yesterday when I found my favorite website – 43Things – was down again. But hooray, it’s working again today – I went to bed yesterday with a heavy heart. It’s strange, but I feel so connected to all those kind people here and on 43T, that I feel sad when I can’t read what happened and connect.
It’s a new day, and I hope today all is better – all is well 🙂
A photograph we took when returning from Copenhagen via Frankfurt – sunset at the airport.
It had an almost magical feeling to it, and for once it was almost quiet.
